Bobbi Stamm
Corresponding Secretary

BOBBI STAMM is proud to be a founding member of The Company Rep and on the Board of Directors since its inception. She has appeared as Maria in Twelfth Night, briefly as Bellomy in The Fantasticks and Prudence Duvernoy in Camino Real on stage for The Company Rep. Other favorite stage roles include Karen in Jake's Women, Lina Lamont in Singin' In the Rain, Sally Bowles in Cabaret, Agnes Gooch in Mame, Sonja in Uncle Vanya and just being in the Broadway revival of The Boys From Syracuse at the Goodman Theatre in Chicago. Bobbi has an extensive Cabaret background that's taken her across the country - including Chicago and Las Vegas with her comedian/singing star husband, J C (Jackie) Curtiss, and to the Bahamas and Canada and on the high seas as a singer, dancer, and burlesque sketch artist. She's even taken her turn as a stand-up comedienne in Chicago night clubs and in a review at the Mayfair Music Hall in Santa Monica. She toured with best friend Chera Holland (also a TCR member) doing their own two-woman act, She and Her. She has appeared in a number of after school specials and Movies of the Week on television and cable -- still being haunted by HBO's Breast Men as the anthropologist, and was featured in the motion picture Wisdom with Emilio Estevez. She has been producing Late-Nite variety shows in the NoHo Theatre District since 1996. Bobbi thanks The Company Rep for the many opportunities that membership affords, and she thanks our wonderful patrons for their support and for making our journey possible.
