Good Tuesday Morning Reppahs!

Thanks for an extraordinary meeting tonight! How wonderful to be able to talk about important things and not have to dwell on tickets and deficits! I am still flying high from the passion and energy in the room. THANK YOU!!!

I want to welcome the new Journeymen who will join Susie to form our Journeymen Company:

Sundeep Mangat, Pamela Rodriguez, Melissa Jones, Melanie Stephens, Tim Brown,Tierney Deaton, Lora Lee Jones, Mykel Lawson, Molly Durand and new company member Jovan Rameau.

Our Journeymen will be our tech workers and front of house personnel. They will take over the late night slot to do new work in.

Next week director Jules Aaron will be teaching the class. He has a marketing seminar that he will share part of with us. He asks that everyone prepare a monologue that best represents you and your work and bring your 8x10. Class is held at T.U. Studios on Camarillo - 10943 Camarillo in North Hollywood. It's at the corner of Camarillo and Lankershim.

It should be a great class I hope you can all attend... I will be out of town until June 8th! But I will be teaching the class on June 14th. I would also like to see monologues, which we will put on film and go over. We'll also be working on cold reading. Some of the other things we'll be working on in future classes are: Style, Ritual (a Body awareness technique) and classical Scene work.

In July I'd like to start working on farce styles so start looking at Moliere and Feydeau!

We will be starting the subscription drive on June 27. I NEED CLOSERS! If you think you're good at closing the deal...email me. Our subscription drive is THE most important thing we are doing this summer - that and our fund raiser on August 21st. No money - No art. It has been thus since time began. The fundraiser will be a talent show...think Ted Mack meets American Idol...we are looking for a celeb to host. Hopefully we will get Fayard Nicholas of the famed Nicholas Brothers. Fayard and his brothers changed to nature of tap dancing. He is more than a celeb, he is a national tresure. Check them out at their website.
